+ Do I need my own logo or do you have templates we can use?
If you do not have your own logo, our in-house design staff can work with you to create one. We also have templates that you can populate with your information as well as stock designs ready to place on your item.
+ How can I avoid setup fees?
• There is no setup fee for screenprinting, but this option requires a minimum order of 12. Vinyl heat press charges $35 no matter the quantity.
• If you are embroidering your item and do not have a digitized file, a $50 fee will be charged to create the file. If a larger logo, additional fees may apply based on stitch count. This file will be provided back to you.
• If your logo is low resolution and needs to be enhanced, a fee of $35 will be charged for the first half hour and $25 for each additional half hour.
• New logos or changes to logos would incur the set-up fees.
• Stock designs do not require setup fees but template designs do.
+ Can you help me with my design?
Yes. We have an in-house design team that would be happy to help you design a logo. Design fees are $35 for the first half hour with an additional $25/hr for each additional hour.
+ Can you add names and numbers to apparel?
Yes. Names and numbers can be added to any garment. Once you have determined your apparel and added any design, you will be able to type or upload a list of names and also select your font and color. Names and numbers are priced at $4.99 each for print or $7.99 for embroidery.
+ Is there a limit to the number of letters or length I can use for names on the front of a shirt?
We go by measurements and the size of the shirt. Names on adult sizes can be no longer than 5"W and no taller than 0.75" on the front. Names on youth sizes can be no longer than 4"W and no taller than 0.5".
+ Can I print on the sleeve?
Yes, select garments allow for print on the sleeve. The ability to select the sleeve location for customization is located in the first step of the designer process. If you have questions on additional locations, please contact the team at Zip’s Outfitters.
+ Can I embroider and print on the same shirt?
Yes, as long as the selected material accepts both embellishment methods. Please contact our Customer Service Department directly. This dual-style request cannot be processed through our online designer tool at this time.
+ Do you carry youth sized and/or infant/toddler shirts?
+ What brands do you carry?

+ How can I be sure my design will be centered?
Our team will center your design based on visual alignment. Most designs are symmetrical. However, if there is a flare or a design element that can cause a design to look heavy on one side, our team will adjust for that.
+ Do you sell gift certificates?
Yes. We can sell you a Zip’s Outfitters gift card for any denomination. A purchased gift certificate doesn’t expire and is not redeemable for cash. Gift certificates are good towards any clothing or customization fee in store or online.

+ Will my Zip’s AW Direct account work for Zip’s Outfitters?
Yes, your account will work for both Zip’s and Zip’s Outfitters. You can use the same login to access and shop from both websites.

+ What if I have a problem with my order?
If a customized item received shows a material defect, please contact us within 15 days of receiving your order.
There are certain circumstances in customizing items that are beyond our control. Please note that we cannot be responsible for:
• Spelling, punctuation, or grammatical errors made by the customer.
• Inferior quality of low-resolution of uploaded images. We will do our best to not process low-resolution images and will always reach out to the customer if we do not think it is a quality image.
• Design errors introduced by the customer in the design creation process.
• Errors in user-selected options such as product type or size.
Please examine your designs carefully and make us aware of any mistakes prior to approving your order.
Items that are deemed defective will be equally exchanged with the same product and design. Items with noticeable wear cannot be returned. Depending on the situation, we may request pictures of the defect before starting an exchange situation.

+ Is there a minimum quantity required for custom apparel?
There is a minimum quantity order of 12 for screen print. Other processes do not require a minimum quantity but the price per item reduces the more that is ordered.
+ What affects my final pricing?
Pricing is based on multiple factors, including what customization process you use, how many colors are used and number of quantities involved. It also can depend on logo size, logos utilized and multiple customization processes on one item. Call Zip’s Outfitters for any pricing questions.
+ Can I get a quote?
Yes. If you have a logo or know which item you are looking for, you can submit a Request for a Quote here. If you are unsure of what you’re looking for, or simply need some guidance, you can call us at 641-328-8558 or stop in at our New Hampton location.
We will always have you approve a quote before an order is placed. You will always know the price and how your items will look before we proceed with your order.
+ What happens after I place my order?
Once you approve your quote, your apparel is ordered. Artwork is completed and set up and your product(s) is run. Your finished items are quality checked and ready for shipment or pick up.
+ Can I make changes after my order is placed?
As long as the order is not placed in production, changes can be made. Once an order is placed in production, specific changes may require a new quote be approved and a reset on production time.
+ How long will it take to receive my order?
That will depend on the size of your order, which customization process and shipping service you have selected. Most orders ship out within 10 business days of quote approval. If your order is larger or more complicated, we will reach out with an estimated ship date. Once shipped, delivery times vary depending on your location.

+ What if I need a size or product that is not listed on your website?
Zip’s Outfitters partners with several vendors and can access products which may not be listed on our website. Please reach out to our Customer Service Department to see if we can locate items for you.
+ Can I purchase items from both Zip’s and Zip’s Outfitters in the same order?
Yes! Simply add items from both websites to your cart, proceed to checkout, and complete your purchase in one seamless process.
