High-visibility clothing is one of the easiest ways to add a little bit of safety to any job. With the Alta Construction Pants from Helly Hansen, you get reflective panels around the legs. If you get the hi-vis orange color, they meet or exceed CSA Z96-2015 Class 3, Level 2 when combined with a Class 2 Level 2 upper garment. When combined with the same garment, the black variety meets or exceeds the requirements for CSA Z96-2015 Class 2, Level 2.
Not only are they super safe, they are very durable. Multiple spots are reinforced with fabric to protect areas prone to wear and tear. The crotch, knees and bottom hems are all reinforced to provide that protection. Plus, the pockets are made of nylon webbing and have a double-lined bottom for high durability.
Those pockets also come in handy thanks to the sheer number of them. They come with a hanging pocket on each side. On top of that, they come with a ruler pocket and a thigh pocket with a fastener closure. This will keep what you store inside it very secure. Finally, it has adjustable knee pad pockets.
